I'm Vanessa, a midwest photographer who loves hugs, making people smile, and hearing peoples stories. I believe in focusing on value, quality, and uniqueness by photographing people who love deeply and openly, continually work to better their relationships, and understand that you must look to the past to continue moving forward. Oh, and to laugh as often as possible.

photographer / collector / dog momI'm a collector. I love surrounding myself with objects and photographs that remind me of how/where I got them and the individual stories they tell. Sometimes it's the beauty of an object that draws me in, or they meant something to someone I love (like my grandma's vintage, plastic pink & black bubble bath poodles) and I remember the person every time I see the object. My home is filled with seemingly random pieces of varying color, design, and use - I will never be mistaken for a minimalist!
